Scanner glass - ROWE Scan 450i

The glass of the ROWE Scan 450i scanner lasts up to 500% longer than the glass of a standard large format scanner

Original factory scanner glass suitable for the ROWE Scan 450i scanner. Glass is tempered glass that is made by heating the glass to a temperature of 650 °, at which point the stresses in it are lost. Tempered glass is 3-5 times stronger than ordinary glass.

Thanks to ROWE's patented ROWE SAFE DRIVE technology, the scanner glass lasts up to 500% longer than a standard large-format scanner glass. There is a gap of about 1,5 mm between the glass and the scanned material, so that the glass does not get dirty and is easily scratched.

The glass of the ROWE Scan 450i scanner is easy to change without tools with the quick lock. We recommend that customers keep at least one scanner glass in reserve, which can also be used as a calibration glass. Scanner calibration should always be performed with completely clean and scratch-resistant glass.
